General Volunteer Program

The Volunteer Program provides opportunities for individuals, particularly newcomers to Canada, to learn, practice and utilize their skills and knowledge in a variety of areas.

• As a newcomer, volunteering is one way to obtain valuable Canadian experience, often requested by employers.
• The volunteer program is also an excellent way to gain new experiences and references while building social and professional networks and connections in the community.

Who Can Apply?

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, people who are destined to become permanent residents in Canada and people who possess a valid visa to stay in Canada.
