This fast-paced Japanese seafood manufacturing plant located in Mitchell Island, Richmond is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Staff to join their team. Duties to include: Pick orders and handle warehouse duties, Handle domestic, cross border and international shipments both for paperwork and physically, Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders (within company, customers, vendors, transportation service providers, etc.), Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Japanese or understanding of Japanese culture

Qualifications:

• Relevant working experience in shipping, receiving and logistics
• Effective communication skills and management skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Detail orientated, accuracy is required
• Quick learner and self starter under minimal supervision
• Multi-tasking skills
• Computer skills
• A valid driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Able to work under -20 Celsius degree for a short period of time (5 to 30 minutes)
• Able to or learn to operate electronic stand narrow aisle forklift and electronic hand jack
