A major hardware retail outlet located in Vancouver is looking for Sales Associates. Duties to include: provide outstanding customer service from initial greeting to the final sale; assess customer needs and provide expert advice about available products; create customer agreements for special order merchandise; demonstrate features and benefits of any product, which may complement the sale; merchandise and maintain the assigned area to its best image i.e. displays, presentations, labels, signage, and ordering needs; participate in ensuring maintenance of department facing, stocking and signing and complete paperwork on price changes.
Requirements:
• Strong communication skills in English
Qualifications:
• Preference of sales experience in a home improvement retailer
• Some product knowledge preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent team player and able to work with people at all levels
• Mature attitude and a strong work ethic are essentials
• Good decision-making abilities and problem solving skills
