ASPECT Targeted Skills Shortage Program (TSSP)

The ASPECT Targeted Skills Shortage Program (TSSP) can provide lesser-skilled employees with access to funded training to improve their performance in the workplace.
- Training courses address the employees’ workplace needs
- Training Coordinator works with employers and employees to prepare training plans
- Maximum of $1,500 per employee
- Maximum of $7,500 per employer

To qualify, employers must:
- have less than 100 employees;
- operate in one of these sectors: Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, Health Care and Social Assistance, Transportation and Warehousing, Manufacturing; and,
- have an eligible employee(s) who either:
- does not have a high school diploma; or,
- has a high school diploma but does not have a recognized certification.
* Each eligible employee is able to participate in the program only once, but more than one employee from each organization can take part in the program at the same time.
