Information:

This Employer operates several Food & Beverage and retail concessions at the Vancouver International Airport. Currently, they are hiring for  Restaurant Host / Hostess. Duties:

• Provide the highest quality of service to customers at all times
• Maintain constant attention to the entrance of the restaurant and welcome, assist and seat the guests; present the menu and any specials
• Communicate with wait staff and other restaurant personnel to ensure the guest experience meets concept and company standards
• Perform the tasks of the bus person as required, including clearing and resetting tables to speed service
• Perform the tasks of the waitperson as required to include taking and serving the order to speed service
• Perform a variety of administrative duties to include issuing guest cheques, handling reception duties and recording guest reservations.
• Other duties as reasonably requested

Requirements:

• Advanced & up English skills
• Previous Hosting experience would be an asset
• Clear communication skills with an outgoing personality
• Must be organized individual with excellent time management skills
• Team Player-share workload with co-workers/perform other kitchen duties as required
• Must be able to work independently and managed multiple projects
• Flexible availability – Able to fill in shifts on short notice (including weekends, evenings and early mornings)
