Information:

A Child – Day Care Centre in Richmond is hiring for one full-time Childcare Worker with ECE certification / license. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Guiding and caring for a group of children including infants and toddlers.
• Encouraging learning and developing positive self-concepts for children.
• Ensuring a healthy and safe environment for children.
• Effective and cooperative team work and communication.
• Applicants must be available for work between 8 am and 6 pm.

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education Certification ( Infant/Toddler certification preferred).
• First Aid training and Food Safe certification.
• Child care experience working with a variety of cultures and family dynamics in an inclusive child care setting working with preschoolers.
• Well developed interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
• Strong knowledge and awareness of:
  • Age-appropriate programming and developmental needs of children
  • Family and parenting issues and needs.
