About Vancouver

Who better to describe the city of Vancouver than our own students? Here's what some of them had to say about Vancouver and why they came here:

Vancouver is a beautiful place where you can learn English as well as have fun and enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean and mountains.
Vancouver is a multicultural city so if you come to Vancouver, you are going to meet a lot of people from different countries around the World.
I came to Vancouver because I was fascinated by the name. The word 'Vancouver' was music to my ears. When I saw the first picture of Vancouver, I was stunned by its beauty - spectular mountains, rivers, the Pacific Ocean and the postmodern architecture. Now that I am here, I think it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life.
I came to Vancouver because it has a good environment, clean air, and it is a beautiful city, especially during the summer months. There are a lot of activities. For example, fireworks to see at English Bay and dragon boat racing.
I came to Vancouver because I heard it was a wonderful place to live and for sightseeing. My friends told me about Stanley Park, Granville Island, and Grouse Mountain.

I came to Vancouver because I wanted to ski here especially at Whistler. I also wanted to learn more English.
