Information:

A Surrey based conveyor pulleys manufacturer is looking for an experienced Assembly Mechanic to join their team.

Duties

Assembles large precision parts including hydraulic couplings, bearings and shaft fittings as well as prepares and packages products for shipping. Assembles large precision parts including hydraulic couplings, bearings and shaft fittings.

Prepares and packages products for shipping.

Also disassembles and reassembles components for service work. Assists with machine maintenance if required.

Requirements:

Millwright trade qualification preferred

Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude

Self-motivated; able to work independently with limited direction Strong work ethic; is action oriented and task-focused

Reliable; follows through on commitments including attending work on a timely and consistent basis

Positive attitude; resilient when facing challenge and frustrations Flexibility to work afternoon shift preferred
