Becoming a Mentor

ISS of BC Mentoring Connections clients

Mentoring Connections is a rewarding volunteer opportunity that lets you - the mentor - share your hard-earned knowledge with those who need it most.

As a mentor, you might answer questions about:

  • Canadian workplace culture and communication styles
  • Opportunities for professional development
  • Job-search strategies and networking techniques
  • Industry-specific vocabulary

Mentoring is an excellent way for you to expand your cross-cultural knowledge, enhance your leadership skills and revitalize your own career!
