TRI-CITY JOB FAIR
“Connecting Job Seekers to Employers”

For immediate release:

The Immigrant Services Society of BC, in partnership with Coquitlam School District are hosting a multi-sector Job Fair so the students in the Coquitlam School District, their parents, siblings and also the public can meet employers face to face. The fair will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Port Moody Secondary School, 300 Albert Street, Port Moody, BC. Admission is Free.

The fair will feature employers from a wide range of sectors, including health care, public services, business, insurance and the service industries of food and retail. The fair is designed to meet the needs of all job seekers, from entry-level positions to management, and from administration to hospitality. Employers will be on hand to share industry facts and information about individual opportunities, to guide interested candidates in the application process, and some will do on-site interviews.

Attending companies include: Aquinas Institute, BCAA, Compass Group, Correctional Service of Canada, Denny’s Restaurant, Hons Coquitlam, Old Navy, Professional Warehouse Demonstrations, Safeway, Salvation Army, Speedi Gourmet (Dairy Queen/Orange Julius), Westfair Foods (Superstore/Loblaw), and more.
