Eligibility Requirements:
• Unemployed British Columbians who are not attending school
• Currently not EI or EI reach back clients
• Individuals who are most likely to benefit from long term job search help and follow-up support services
• Resident of Vancouver/Surrey/Port Coquitlam (Port Moody, Pitt Meadow, Maple Ridge, Belcarra, Anmore and surrounding areas)

Program offers:
• 5 weeks of group workshop followed by 5 weeks of work experience options to a maximum of 10 weeks

The Employment Services for immigrant and refugee newcomers provides information about BC's job market, guidance and support on settlement related employment issues and connection to the broader Metro Vancouver community.

This 3 part workshop series is ideal for beginners and will teach you all of the basics:
- Introduction to computers
- Online job search
- Keyboarding
- Online application forms
- Internet & E-mail
- Online labour market information
